Open Connect Sales…
Needs the Slap Alert downloaded from slapalert.com. Open the monkey menu → Connect Sales… → Shopify.

Paste the signing key
In your Shopify admin open Settings → Notifications → Webhooks, copy the signing key shown there, paste it into Slap Alert and press Connect. You don't need a Shopify app or a developer account.

Add an Order payment webhook
Slap Alert then shows a Webhook URL. Back in Shopify choose Create webhook, set the event to Order payment, the format to JSON, paste that URL and save. An order slaps within about 30 seconds of being paid; one that isn't paid yet slaps when it is.
The relay
Shopify can only announce a purchase by sending it to a web address, and a Mac can't receive that. Paid orders go to a small Slap Alert relay at relay.slapalert.com, and your Mac collects them from there about every 30 seconds. The privacy policy says what the relay keeps. If you only use Stripe, Paddle or App Store sales, your Mac never contacts the relay.

The Connect Sales… window says why: for example that your webhook sends Cart creation events, that an order came in unpaid and you need an Order payment webhook, or that its signature doesn't match the key you gave Slap Alert.
