Make a Team key
Needs Slap Alert 1.4 or later. In App Store Connect open Users and Access → Integrations → App Store Connect API → Team Keys and add a key with the Sales role (Finance if Apple refuses Sales). Download the .p8 file.

Paste it into Slap Alert
In Connect Sales… → App Store, enter the issuer ID, the key ID and your vendor number (top left of Payments and Financial Reports) and choose the .p8 file.

Slap Alert slaps one note each morning with yesterday's sales, once Apple's report is out (about 8 a.m. Pacific). The first note covers the day before.
The key stays on your Mac
The .p8 key is stored in your Mac's keychain and never leaves it. Slap Alert uses it to sign a short-lived token that it sends only to Apple (api.appstoreconnect.apple.com), over HTTPS, to download your own daily sales summary. You can remove it from Connect Sales… → Disconnect. If you only use App Store sales, your Mac never contacts the Slap Alert relay.
