What's new in Slap Alert

What Slap Alert can do is on the home page. This page is the list of releases, newest first. Dates are the day each download was published.

Version 1.6.5

Build 18

• The monkey now gives you a heads-up the day before your free trial ends, and a note when it does. Each one has a Keep slapping button if you want to buy.
• After the trial, slaps from your own scripts keep working, same as before.
• There's a new Privacy Policy item in the menu and in Settings. It opens slapalert.com/privacy.

Version 1.6.4

• Two sale sounds, Cha-ching and Register. They are real cash-register recordings. Pick one under Sound. Hear Cha-ching and Register.
• Build 17, notarized, for Apple silicon and Intel. The Mac App Store build was still 1.6.2 and in review, so these sounds are in the slapalert.com download.

• Share the sale, milestone or sales-wall card you selected. Every share card keeps the Slap Alert logo alongside your configured product logo, including Revenue, MRR and ARR cards.
• Open Connect Sales… → Win cards to choose your logo. Copy or save locally, or confirm the finished public image before opening X and adding your caption. Amounts stay hidden unless you turn them on.

• Sale, milestone, Revenue, MRR and ARR cards can carry your product name and logo. Open Connect Sales… → Win cards, choose a PNG, JPG or SVG logo, and check the live preview.

• Revenue… shows current MRR and ARR, plus Today, This Week and All Time. You can connect more than one Stripe account.
• Share the revenue card you selected on X and write the caption yourself. Every real sale and renewal note has a smaller Share button. Shared cards leave out customer names, and amounts stay hidden unless you turn them on.

• Share a card with no customer names. Amounts stay hidden unless you turn them on.
• Notes stay on screen until you click to dismiss them, including when more notes are waiting. A timeout you already set is kept.

• Polar connects with an orders:read token and a sandbox checkbox. Dodo Payments connects with a Payments: Read key and a test-mode checkbox. Both keys stay in your Mac's keychain.
• A win card marks your first sale, the $100, $1k and $10k clubs, and a new best day. Copy it, save it, or post it to X. The amount stays hidden unless you turn it on.
• A sales ledger on your Mac tracks milestones, today's total and the weekly sales wall.

• Paddle: an API key with Transactions: Read and Customers: Read. A sandbox key works too, and its notes are stamped TEST.
• App Store: one note each morning with yesterday's Mac and iPhone sales, after Apple's report is out.
• Shopify paid orders use an Order payment webhook, in the slapalert.com download.

Version 1.3

• Shopify orders and RevenueCat purchases can slap a note that names who bought, in the slapalert.com download. The Mac can't receive those webhooks itself, so they pass through the Slap Alert relay. The privacy policy says what the relay keeps.

The current download is on the download page, with the install steps and the ZIP checksum.
