One note, after Apple's report
-
Not one slap per download
Needs Slap Alert 1.4 or later. Apple doesn't announce single sales, so there is no note for each purchase as it happens. You get yesterday's sales together.
-
About 8 a.m. Pacific
Slap Alert slaps once the daily report is out. The first note covers the day before. The key is an App Store Connect API key with the Sales role (Finance if Apple refuses Sales).
-
The key stays on the Mac
It is stored in your Mac's keychain and never leaves it. Slap Alert signs a short-lived token and sends that only to
api.appstoreconnect.apple.com. The App Store page lists the issuer ID, key ID, vendor number and .p8 file.
RevenueCat is a different feed
If the app's purchases are in RevenueCat, connect that separately. A V2 secret key with Charts & metrics: Read slaps when today's revenue goes up, usually within a minute or two. RevenueCat is checked every minute. A note that shows who bought what needs RevenueCat's webhook, in the version downloaded from slapalert.com. That's on the RevenueCat page. If RevenueCat already tracks your Stripe sales, connect just one, or each sale gets two slaps.
